Events 2015-2016

Studio-X Mumbai opened its doors to the public in February 2011 with Architecture of Consequence, an international traveling exhibition about the role of architecture in social innovation and sustainability. The space has quickly become a major hub of vibrant debate. Located in historic downtown Mumbai, Studio-X Mumbai explores the built environment by hosting a variety of events that address issues such as contemporary architectural practice, sociology, public art, and the impact of technology on the city. A provocative concept by Dean Mark Wigley at the time and with continued leadership and support of Dean Amale Andraos, Studio X Mumbai continues to question the nature of our urban future through continuous cross fertilisation of ideas and issues across the network of spaces in Rio, Istanbul, Amman, Beijing and Johannesburg.
